Wavelength

For many years, Wavelength thought it was his imagination that was telling him what other people were thinking, but upon reaching university, he discovered that in actual fact, he possessed the ability to read minds. After that, it was only everyone else that thought it was just Wavelength's imagination that was telling him what other people thought.

Wavelength normally wears a bandana in order to hide his third eye, as strangers openly stare at that sort of thing. Now, they openly stare at the bandana instead.

Candle

With the ability to create living flame from any part of his body comes a danger of burning oneself. Candle possesses such an ability, and with the right care and attention, doesn't burn himself too badly. However, he has never been able to control the fire on his head that replaces his hair. Those that doubt his abilities claim that in actual fact, his hair is just really ginger, and not a plume of flame at all.

The Biology Student

The reason why the Biology Student chose the name "Biology Student" and why he chose such a garish costume is somewhat of a mystery to the rest of the team. The powers that he possesses are seldom used successfully, as he possesses super strength, but lacks the bone structure to deal with this. As the Biology Student has found before, bravado is no substitute for strong bones.

Being the only squad member with "a proper question" gives the Biology Student a lot of confidence and he is more than happy to speak up with a potential solution to any problem, regardless of how daft it sounds.

Handiman

Essentially a human Swiss army knife, Handiman has the ability to transform his hands into various objects. He has a limited amount of control over this and has only ever really had experience with cutlery.

Although seemingly a little disorganised and scattered at times, Handiman has an uncanny knack of getting things working through improbable means, including string and lengths of bamboo.

Lady Fury of the North

A warrior princess from the north of England, Lady Fury possesses a frightening rage that can be unleashed with only a moments warning. Favouring a sword and shield combination, but often losing the shield in favour of a strong left hook, Lady Fury is a fearsome warrior when she is called out.

She is in a relationship with Demon Eye and feels content with the other team members, even if she does feel that she is far more competent than them.

Demon Eye

The power of a 600W microwave sits behinds the eyes of Demon Eye. Other team mates really can on occasion feel his eyes burning into the back of their heads.

Despite this fairly aggressive power, and being in a relationship with Lady Fury, Demon Eye is generally fairly mellow and chilled out, rarely losing his temper or patience with anything that happens around the house.

Iron Gut

Being utterly indestructible is an amazing power. Being utterly indestructible from this inside out is less useful, but does make you immune to any form of poison, toxin or curry.

Iron Gut took his name from the "2004 Iron Gut Curry Scarfing Competition" which he won hands down with nothing but a small belch to let him down. He wears his tee shirt prize with pride.

Iron Gut has also found that he is able to imbibe almost any amount of alcohol, and is constantly testing the limits of his power. He wouldn't say it is a drinking problem, but more of a drinking skill.

Hazman

Nobody has a clue where Hazman came from. When the squad moved in to the house, everyone assumed that he was the friend of one of the others. Despite the fact that he is essentially a squatter, he's always sociable and tags along with the squad, he doesn't take up much space, and most importantly, he chips in with keeping the house clean.
