Director's
Commentary
I find
it very difficult to do pages with reduced
text like this one. I just see the mass of space before me and
think "I must fill this with words".
Things
aren't going 100% to plan with regards to this story, but at the
same time, they are still following the right basic anatomy sketched
out a few months ago. I'm always amazed by how ideas in the scripting
phase just seem a bit limp or crap when it actually comes to construction.
Goodness knows how professional artists stick to a predefined
script without losing their sanity when they realise that the
writer's idea of 48 panels all containing at least 50 words in
won't work and there's not much they can do about it.
Maybe
that's just a woeful misunderstanding of how the whole thing works,
but all the same, you can't beat flexibility.
