Director's
Commentary
And
we're back. A while ago I took some advice to build up a buffer
of updates to work through so if you do run out of time, you can
still update when you're supposed to. This, may I say, is fantastic
advice. If you take it, stick to it. I haven't, but you definitely
should.
I've
never really worked out how Dr. Doomday's head actually works.
Sometimes he ends up looking a little bit like a South Park-style
Canadian, other times just a bloke with an enormous jaw, but I've
never really sat down and thought "how does his mouth actually
work?". I'm sure a good artist would work out where it hinges
and attempt some kind of consistency, for example, "where
does his nose fit in when the mouth is closed", or "how
does he eat"? As we have established previously on this project,
I am not yet a good artist, but more of a student-artist that
doesn't study art (so, an ordinary art student I suppose...going
by the same logic that I studied history..) so hinges and actual
physical mechanics of certain characters are, at present, out
the window.
